DynoJet/Dynomometer Testing
The DynoJet is a performance diagnostic tool which is used to accurately and simultaneously measure the rear wheel horse power, torque, speed, and RPM of any two wheel drive vehicle. It can accurately test from as little as 20 horsepower, and up to as high as 1,200 horsepower. It allows us to safely duplicate the best road testing under ideal conditions, with reliability and consistency.
The Dyno Dynamics Dynomometer is a load bearing diagnostic tool which we use for the tuning of vehicles. The Dynamics Dynomometer allows us to test and tune the vehicle under various conditions by applying load. It allows us to safely tune your vehicle at various speeds and conditions without having to keep our eye on the road.

Dyno tuning
Dyno tuning is a systematic approach to engine tuning. Dyno tuning allows us to give your vehicle a tune-up of unparalleled quality, providing you with the smoothest, most economical performance possible from your vehicle. To properly tune your car and program the computer for the best performance and fuel economy under all loads and driving conditions, your car needs to be on a dyno with full load control. Without a dyno the tuning can get close. But nothing makes engine tuning more precise than a full load dyno machine, like we use at The Dyno Shop. For each RPM range our dyno can put various loads on your car to simulate all conditions on the road or on the track.
With the assistance of the Dyno we are able to simulate different driving/load conditions, diagnose drivability issues “in the shop” (while using other diagnostic equipment, i.e. scanner, scopes, gauges and meters), check horsepower, torque, and air/fuel ratio.
Whether it be vintage autos from the turn of the century, muscle cars of the 60’s and 70’s or the latest electronic fuel injected vehicles, we can improve your driving experience.

Fuel Injector Cleaning
There are many reasons to have a vehicle’s fuel injectors cleaned. The main circumstances include fuel contamination, uneven cylinder fueling or spark plug wear, or an unexplained cylinder misfire where you have spark. You may also be ready for your general maintenance at 80K or 100K miles or just want peace of mind at the time of an engine rebuild.
After the injectors are cleaned ultrasonically, we test their operation on the Injector Flow Bench. This examines the injectors’ spray pattern, checks dynamic and static flow rate, and performs a leak test. Once the flow test is finished, critical components are replaced, such as O-rings, seals, filters, and pintle caps. We also provide fuel injection tuning, diagnosis, installation, and repair.

Manufacturer Scheduled Maintenance
Manufacturers know that a properly maintained vehicle will be more dependable, safer, last longer, and increase your satisfaction with their product. Vehicle makers and owners also have a responsibility to make sure emission controls receive regular service and are functioning properly. Regular maintenance helps accomplish these goals by keeping your engine running efficiently and eliminating potential problems that may leave you stranded. The manufacturer creates detailed maintenance schedules outlining specific operations to be performed on various components and systems. This is done at different mileage intervals to ensure proper operation and prevent premature wear. The manufacturer also indicates what services must be done to maintain the factory warranty and extended warranty. We can perform these services for you and your warranty will not be effected!
